Set to arrive on Concord Records on Friday April 16, Let The Bad Times Roll was recorded over a span of several years with seminal rock producer Bob Rock.

The album is set to see the So-Cal punks return to their raucous roots, with lead single ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ reflecting the political climate of the US at the time of writing (2019/2020).

“I feel like we’re in a unique period in history where instead of our world leaders saying ‘we’re doing our best’ it’s more like they’re saying ‘fuck it’ and it’s really scary,” singer Dexter Holland said of the title track.

“Folks are saying, if it’s all going to Hell, we might as well make the most out of it, or at least go out swinging,” guitarist Noodles added in a press statement. “‘Let The Bad Times Roll!’”

Last year, The Offspring were slated to visit Australia for a Greatest Hits tour alongside Sum 41, which was subsequently cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band last visited the country in 2018, where they performed a headline set at Good Things Festival – revisit our interview with them here.

Let The Bad Times Roll arrives via Concord on Friday April 16.
